Kustom By Kris allows the sale of merchandise at the 1135 Main Street, Dubuque, IA brick & mortar design studio via consignment. If you would like your products sold in my studio, you must agree to these terms and follow the instructions within. Feel free to
contact me if you have any questions.
Step One: Product ReviewThe very first thing you must do is request a product review of the merchandise you would like sold in my studio. Start a support ticket with the following information:
Company Name
Business Location
Website Address
How long you have been in business
Product Description
Product Retail Price
Links to photos and more information
After I review this information and feel your product is suitable for my store, I may request one product be sent to me. If so, you must send it "retail ready". This means packaged and tagged - ready to be sold. Please note that products will not be returned. If approved, I will request a supply of products to sell in my studio. The quantity you send is entirely up to you, as well as any marketing and promotional pieces you would like to include (such as a sign, business cards, pamphlets, etc).
Earnings & FeesI, as the consignor, receive 30% of the final selling price. The sale of each piece of your merchandise is logged on an invoice in your online account here. You can log in at any time to see the balance of your earnings and what has sold. Payouts are made during the first week of each month for all sales made at least 30 days prior.
MerchandiseAll merchandise must be handmade by you and new. I do not accept used items. You must tag and price each individual unit. Merchandise is sold in my studio for 90 days. After that, it is your responsibility to retrieve unsold merchandise. I can ship it to you if necessary at your expense. You can renew the Consignment Agreement on any merchandise at any time. Unsold merchandise that is not picked up within 6 months of an expired Consignment Agreement becomes property of Kustom By Kris.
TaggingPlease tag every piece of merchandise. The tag should include your name or your business name, product price, and a unique identifier for each piece (this can be a name or a number). Be sure to keep a log of this information for your records.
OtherIn addition to displaying your products in my studio, I may also photograph products to use for marketing. Pictures of products and descriptions may be added to my website
here along with information about your company. If your products are suitable, I will include them in my booths at bridal shows as well.
The AgreementPlease print two copies and fill in the Consignment Agreement {
here}. Send to my address as indicated on the Agreement, signed, with your merchandise. I will sign and date them, then send a copy back to you. The date I sign the Agreement officially starts the 90 days of consignment for this merchandise.
