The Feel Better Binder™ was developed to aid individuals battling cancer. It was designed by a cancer survivor (my cousin) while she fought through the disease and mountains of paperwork. Between keeping track of appointments, organizing notes, and hanging on to phone numbers, it is necessary to have a system that makes it easy to keep important information all in one place.

If you are planning a wedding, keep your expectations in check! A short notice event (within 2-3 months) should not expect a bridal shower (opt for a small night out with your girls), formal ceremony, and potluck reception. Instead, plan a small , more casual wedding and simple reception. Don't want to feed everyone? Have a dessert reception or cocktail hour. Otherwise, take the time to plan out your wedding. The wait will be worth it if you aren't willing to compromise!
And another thing: Outsource whatever you can. Don't stress yourself out by trying to do it all yourself. Look to family and friends. Exercise their strengths. The people who care about you like helping with these things.

The person who performs our wedding, the location, and the invitations are the most important to us, so those items have received the most attention and a bigger budget. Everything else has been thoroughly planned, but we have made changes based on money, the number of people we want to attend, and what we're comfortable with.
It isn't easy to plan a big event. Think of your wedding as a celebration of your relationship. But be reasonable. When you are the hostess, it is your job to cater to your guests - not them to you. Also be sure to find some fun in it! Weddings are supposed to be enjoyable, not stressful. Take time for yourself and find new ways to connect with your man.
